Han Sen ran over to Bao'er and caught her. But when he touched her, he felt a chill.
Bao'er's meaty body was now as hard as wood. It wasn't just the feeling; Bao'er's body was turning into wood, too. She was like a doll carved out of wood.
"Bao'er!"
Han Sen was in a panic. He called out to her twice, but Bao'er did not turn around. Her green light was getting stronger, and her body was turning into wood. Her lifeforce was dropping rapidly.
Han Sen was in a panic. Bao'er had been with him for so long that Han Sen had gotten used to her presence. Not even his own son, Littleflower, had been with him for as long as Bao'er. She was like a daughter to him.
Now that something was wrong with Bao'er, even Han Sen, who had a strong will, began to panic.
Little Silver reacted quickly, though. He cast a bolt of silver lightning on Bao'er. The mercury-like lightning entered Bao'er's body and restored her lifeforce.
But it only recovered a little, and then it started to drop again.
"Little Silver, save her!" Han Sen shouted at Little Silver.
Little Silver was already in front of Bao'er. His body was shining with silver lightning, and he turned into his ten-tailed fox form. His ten tails kept swinging, and he kept striking Bao'er with silver lightning. That powerful healing power was only able to slow down the decline of Bao'er's lifeforce.
Han Sen simulated the silver fox's lightning powers and used them on Bao 'er. But there was still a big difference between his simulated powers and the silver fox's, so it wasn't very effective. Still, it was better than nothing.
There was nothing else he could do, so he had to do his best.
But no matter what he did, Bao'er's lifeforce was still dropping. After half an hour, her lifeforce was very weak. It was as if she could die at any moment.
Little Silver looked at Han Sen strangely. He looked at the worried Han Sen, and as if he had made a decision, he opened his mouth and spat out a silver lightning ball.
After Little Silver spat out the lightning ball, it flew to Bao'er. It landed on Bao'er's forehead, and a surge of lightning power seeped into Bao'er's body.
When the lightning ball appeared, Little Silver was no longer in his ten-tailed fox form. He looked very tired.
The lightning crystal ball kept releasing lightning power, saving Bao 'er's life. But as the lightning crystal ball was released, the lightning crystal ball became smaller and smaller. It looked like the lightning crystal ball's power could not be regenerated.
As the lightning ball shrank, it went from the size of a fist to the size of an egg, and then to the size of a ping pong ball. When it was the size of a fingernail, the green light on Bao'er's body finally disappeared.
Her wooden body started to recover, and not long after, her chubby body returned. It was as if she had just had a good night's sleep. Bao'er stretched herself.
"Don't eat anything you don't like from now on. If you do, I won't let you out again."
Han Sen checked Bao'er's body, and when he was sure she was back to normal, he scolded her.
Bao'er lowered her head, not daring to speak.
Han Sen ignored her and walked over to the silver fox.
He stroked the silver fox's head.
The thunder crystal ball seemed to be very important to the little fox.
When it was reduced to the size of a fingernail, the silver fox took it back.
Han Sen could feel that the little fox's lifeforce had been greatly reduced.
It was almost weaker than a gerbil.
Han Sen held the weak silver fox in his arms, and his heart ached. Little Silver had been with him longer than Bao'er, and Han Sen cared about him just as much as he cared about Bao'er.
Fortunately, Bao'er and Little Silver were fine. If either of them were missing, Han Sen would not have been able to accept it.
Seeing that both Bao'er and Little Silver were fine, Lin Feng and the others felt relieved.
Jing Jiwu looked at the remaining one and a half fruits on the tree and said, "I think I understand now. The fruits on this tree probably contain the elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. The gerbil is of the earth element, and the gerbil king must have eaten a fruit of the earth element. Luckily, it did not die and evolved.
The gerbil that ate the metal element did not match its element, so it was completely metalized.
Bao'er should have eaten a fruit of the wood element, and the remaining one should be of the fire element.
If these fruits really do correspond to the elements, then there should be a fruit of the water element that was eaten by another creature. That could be the person who left the message on the tree. "
"That is very possible." Lin Feng agreed with Jing Jiwu's theory.
"If the remaining one is of the fire element, then it would only be useful for people of the fire element. Is there anyone among us that is of the fire element?" Xu Mi said with disappointment. He was not of the fire element.
Everyone looked at each other, and the chef of the Dragons said, "If there is no one, then I will go and pick the fruit."
"Are you of the fire element?"
Han Sen didn't know what the Dragon Lady Chef's element was, but judging from her powers, it was possible she could use fire. So, it was possible.
The chef of the Dragons nodded and then shook her head. "Not entirely, but I will not eat it myself. If what Jing Jiwu said is true, then this fruit should be a top-level ingredient. I can find a way to cook it, and if it works, I might be able to level up to super."
Han Sen listened to the chef of the Dragons and did not object.
She didn't need the food cooked by the Dragon Clan's female chef. She only needed the cooking process. If she really succeeded in cooking, she would still give it to others to eat.
Lin Feng and the others did not object. None of them were of the fire element, and they were only here because of Han Sen, so they did not want to share the fruit.
Seeing that no one objected, the Dragon Lady summoned a pair of scissors and a pot. She cut off the red fruit and half of the yellow fruit and put them into the pot.
"When I am done, I will share it with you," the chef of the Dragons said happily.
In the end, none of the gerbils were able to reach them. Han Sen and the others did not find anything else nearby, so they let Little Star take them out of the underground cave.
Because the way back was too complicated, Little Star went up against the sky and returned to the surface after passing through a lot of rocks.
Han Sen looked around and saw that they were still in the Wind Song Desert. He was about to let Lin Feng and Jing Jiwu argue about where they should go first.
The crystal shoe had been on Han Sen's feet, which was always a concern. Han Sen planned to find a place where there was no one else and find a way to get the shoe off.
However, when Han Sen got off Little Star's back, he suddenly felt his left foot go out of control.
